Op Amp Tester OT15S Buffer Testing Inverting And Non Inverting Amplifier Testing

OT15S kit is usefull for audio equipment troubleshooting. its designed for single / dual op amps testing. The gains and multiplier section all uses precision resistors.

This board has 4 section. each labelled on the PCB with the silkscreen. The unit operates from 15v power supply. The power rails are indicated by the 2 blue LED. there is a 10 turn pot to adjust the power supply from around 600mV per rail to over 10v per rail . This is a tracking power supply to provide +- to op amp.

there is a red LED to indicate short circuit or over current condition. in event the op amp is damaged or put in wrong way round this will come on to provent a damage to tester / device under test. in event of LED coming on. remove op amp and insert correctly or use the tester section to test op amp for functionality first.

Op Amp Tester:

used to test op amp for functionality. As stated on the PCB only a flashing LED for the corresponding op amp package indicates a working op amps. Any other status indicates a non functioning op amp. 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE SINGLE PACKAGE OP AMP TESTER POWER SUPPLY IS SET TO +-6 volts

Op Amp buffer state tester:

use this section to test op amps in buffer state. you can test single package or sual package. set power supply first then apply signal to signal in section and monitor the op amp output with the relative output PCB test points.

the signal input is 50 ohms terminated and impedance matched and is also AC coupled in. the outputs are non 50 ohms terminated or impedance matched, but they are AC coupled.

Op amp amplifier for single package, inverting and non inverting amplifier state. :

set power supply first then apply signal to signal in section and monitor the op amp output with the relative output PCB test points.

use the x1 or x10 to set the multiplier first then x1 to x8 to set the gain.
